Head Rolling Stock Mechanic
Remote salmon processing facility in Bristol Bay Alaska looking for experienced and motivated rolling stock mechanics. Coffee Point Seafoods operates two seasonal salmon plants on the north beach of the Egegik River, the season runs May-August. Due to COVID-19 risk to employees and communities anyone hired to work and live in our communal Alaska operations must either be vaccinated pre-hire or agree to be vaccinated once on site.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Seasonal employment running (approx.) early May until early August.

Maintenance and servicing of all rolling stock including, but not limited to, forklifts, four-wheelers, pickup trucks, 2.5- & 5-ton military trucks, and heavy equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Minimum 3 years professional experience. Experience with gas, propane and diesel engines. Military multifuel and Cummins engine experience preferred. Experience with hydraulic systems. Experience with vehicle electrical systems. Self-directed, well organized and comfortable in a diverse living and working environment. Willing to work in a remote location under, at times, challenging conditions.

COMPENSATION:

$335/Day, Season completion bonus of $2,500

Airfare to and from plant from point of hire

Free room and board

Pay Frequency:

• Bi weekly or Twice monthly

• 6PM

• 6AM
