Responsibilities
This role is within the IT Corporate Systems organization in support of HR Systems. The engineer in this role will be a member of the automation team identifying manual intensive processes and automating those using, RPA, UI Path, Power Automate, Workflow technologies and related tools. The engineer will also contribute to modernization of existing automations from Blue Prism to UI Path.
In this role you will:
Be a key technical contributor on a growing HRCS Automation Engineering team to implement automation that has enterprise impact
Partner with the HRCS Service Delivery, Community, Learning Technology and Workday teams and our HR Product and Technology Decision Owners, Tech Leads and business partners to design and implement automation solutions.
Contribute to the technical direction, innovation opportunities and decisions
Leverage and continuously help develop best practices, standards, and frameworks
Provide intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of automation and related components
Translate technical specifications into code for moderately complex projects(both new or enhance existing) for internal clients.
Write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports.
Employ software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation.
Elevate code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule.
Provide follow up production support.
Submit change control requests and documents.
Follow software development methodology.
Follow development architecture standards.
Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Participates in systems analysis activities.
Understand client business functions and technology needs.
