Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time RN Staff Educator.
Essential Job Functions:
-
provides clinical and non-clinical education and evaluation to nursing and patient care staff.

Provides NCI and CPR training as scheduled.
-
Conduct staff development training courses.
-
Collaborates with medical providers, patient care staff and management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula.

Provides patient care on the inpatient units as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred with a Registered Nurse license or a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Must have at least one year of inpatient or outpatient experience, behavioral health experience preferred.

Instructional training, administration of continuing education programs, or program development preferred.

This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof of vaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.
