We are hiring a Team of experienced Hi-Tech RN's for PRN day & night shifts caring for post-anesthesia facial surgery patients (peds & adults). PACU experience required including IV insertion and med administration, suctioning, monitoring vitals and safety protocols in a home setting. Most patients will be visiting from out of town and staying locally in an AirBNB or VRBO type living arrangement. First shift nurse will greet the patient at the St. Pete surgery center late morning and when they're released will follow the patient to their home. 2nd shift nurse will relieve the day nurse at approx 9pm and follow patient to doctor appointment in St. Pete at 9am in the morning when their shift will end. All necessary training and supplies are provided to our nurses. At this time, surgeries are scheduled for Thursdays, and this may vary over time as the program grows.

This is an excellent PART-TIME PRN opportunity for nurses wanting to pick up additional PRN shifts away from a chaotic or demanding environment where they can utilize their nursing skills providing one to one care to a post-op patient. Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the DON and the physician's plan of care and orders
• Follow physicians orders and ensure compliance with plan of care
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and all required documentation
• Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient
• Perform all duties and responsibilities always adhering to Florida chapter 464 - Nurse Practice Act
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
• Current state license as an RN in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• At least ONE year experience as an RN
• Experience in PACU required
