Pure Infusion Suites is hiring in Tacoma! Pure Infusion Suites is an Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) specializing in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with auto-immune disorders. PURE provides an alternate site-of-care for patients currently receiving these infusion treatments in hospitals, cancer centers or at home. Our sites drive down the cost of healthcare for patients and the communities PURE resides in, while also providing a private, tailored and intentional experience for each patient.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for providing direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectables as ordered, as well as appropriate patient education.
• Comprehensive Nursing Assessment
• Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies
• Establish PIV access
• Access PIV & Ports
• Medication preparation (Mixing) and Medication administration
• Triage infusion patient inquiries
• Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion
• Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
• Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care.
• Adheres to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• RN Degree, BSN Preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience
• Current nursing license for applicable state
• Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Experience:

• Infusion: 1-2 years - We would prefer biologic/monoclonal anti-body experience.
• ICU or Cardiac Care: 1 year
• Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
