Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:
- NYS licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers/patients or employees of the agency.
- Excellent organizational writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
- Candidates with previous Home Care experience are preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination, development, and direct supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff.
- Provides medical oversight for clients in their homes- including but not limited to assessments, obtaining MD orders, monthly contacts and maintaining an appropriate Plan of Care.
- Will utilize technology to chart and process the necessary paperwork and rely heavily on email and phone communication.
- Travel to Buffalo and western NY suburbs
Job Types: Part-time, Per Diem
Pay: $40.00-45.00
