JOB OVERVIEW: The role of the Area Revenue Manager is to identify and maximize all potential revenue opportunities for 3 limited service hotels. This individual will provide direction and support to property teams in the maximization of revenue (RevPAR and RevPAR Index) profit and market share through leadership in the revenue management processes.

  • Perform all day-to-day revenue management services for a select group of hotels in the portfolio
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of group and transient inventory controls
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors
  • Conduct competitive and demand analysis
  • Ensure that all rooms statistics reports, including the financial statement, and any other related reports are accurate and consistent
  • Ensure that all revenue management-related systems are maintained including Fosse/One Yield /MARSHA/ HPP
  • Lead weekly revenue calls with property teams to maintain communication of strategies and need periods
  • Lead property teams by providing direction on revenue management best practices, PMS/CRS/External Yield systems best practices, third party channel best practices
  • Develops near and long-term top-line rooms revenue hotel forecasts weekly & monthly or as necessary
  • Participate in and prepare the annual budget for each property using Fosse, Delphi, One Yield and other applicable forecasting tools such as market intelligence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
  • Must be One Yield certified

This job operates in a professional office environment where sitting is expected for a majority of the time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers and good old fashion filing.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

  • Three to five years in revenue management.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft 365 environment and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • One Yield certified
