Growing company in the financial services industry looking for a Retention Manager. Retention Manager’s role is to recapture clients that have already signed up with our retail sales reps and have either cancelled, not provided payment information or are unsure about moving forward. This position will allow you an arsenal of options not available to the retail sales reps including discounts and improved terms compared to what the customers may have been offered at a retail level. Ideal Retention manager will have strong sales and customer service experience. Must have great people skills including the ability to simplify information that may be confusing or over whelming to the average customer.

Since each client’s situation is unique the Retention manager will have tools to customize each recaptured client’s program to fit their needs. Retention Manager should be a self-started, thrive on assisting others and enjoy turning around dissatisfied or even disgruntled clients. This process includes reducing fees, adjusting payment amounts and dates, or even reexplaining the program terms. Retention Manager will need to probe and uncover reasons for client stalling and rework files as necessary to meet client’s expectations.

The ideal candidate:

• Confident being on the phone facing off with clients who previously accepted service that need to be resold.
• Has empathy for consumers who need assistance with their finances
• Can work with little or no supervision to achieve company goals of recapturing.
• Is comfortable spending 4+ hours per day on the phone working with current customers, NOT COLD CALLING.
• Is resolution orientated in their dialog.
• Is highly motivated and works well independently.

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
