Summary

The Retail Marketing Specialist I is responsible for collaborating with both internal and external partners to ensure marketing plans are executed with excellence. Strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain effective business relationships are critical to success in the Retail Marketing Specialist I role. This position primarily supports Retail Brand Management, along with other cross-functional teams, and is essential for ensuring that all project deliverables are aligned with Retail
Marketing and Brand initiatives.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with strategic partners, internal and external resources to create, produce, and package marketing related program materials that provide easy execution at retail.
Responsible for executing marketing plans developed by the Retail Brand Managers and the Brand Marketing team for Carhartt's wholesale partners.
Under the direction of the Retail Marketing Supervisor, and in collaboration with Brand Design, manage all creative projects from concept to execution to meet all key delivery dates.
Ensure all project due dates are met and executed within the targeted budget amounts specified.
Process and track invoices, while reconciling extensive multi-line budgets as needed, to maintain budget requirements for assigned wholesale partners.
Responsible for reviewing all components of advertising media for assigned wholesale partners to ensure they are compliant with Carhartt’s Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy and Carhartt’s Brand Guidelines.
Maintain effective business relationships with cross-functional partners, vendors, and strategic partners to support retail marketing initiatives.
Problem solve as needed to ensure that the needs of Retail Marketing Brand Management team, and its wholesale partners, are being managed effectively.
Maintain and engage in cross-departmental communications to guarantee that all retail marketing programs align and support key brand and corporate initiatives.
Proactively anticipate the needs of the ever changing retail environment to help identify possible marketing related opportunities and solutions to best service wholesale partners and enhance the consumer experience.
Track and capture key learnings specific to marketing campaigns, integrated communications, and custom marketing programs for assigned wholesale partners to best identify and develop best practices.
Education
Associate's Degree Required in Marketing or Related Field
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of (2) years of Marketing experience in the apparel, retail or consumer product industry
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Creative thinker with a proven ability to effectively problem solve
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with accounts, agencies, and external partners
Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively prioritize workload
Strong accuracy, attention to detail
Working Conditions
Travel (10%)
Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities.
