Founded in 1962, Home Appliance has since grown to over 60 employees, including 3 retail locations, a parts & distribution center, as well as install, delivery, and service staff. Retail Customer Service Representative Summary:
The Retail Customer Service Representative will be the first person our clientele will see when they walk into our sales/design center. The ideal candidate will provide our clientele with a welcoming, pleasant, hospitable presence and experience. The purpose of the role is to act as a liaison for the customer through sales, delivery, installation, and service of their appliances. The Retail Customer Service Representative reports to the Customer Engagement Leader.
Position Responsibilities:
● Greet and engage with all customers who enter the showroom
● Build rapport and gather customer information for customer walk-in reports
● Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately
● Ensure that all appliance displays are clean and tagged
● Assist with creating product and/or sales tags when necessary
● Process payments for sales and parts orders
● Assist customers with parts and appliance pickup orders including model/serial verification and invoicing
● Complete customer confirmations for delivery, install and service
● Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
● Friendly and outgoing personality with a “can-do” attitude
● Customer service experience a plus
● Effective verbal and written communication skills
● Professional appearance and demeanor
● Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
● Willingness to learn industry specific software system
● Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Job Type & Compensation:
Full-time, weekend availability needed
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 an hour ($35,360-$39,520 annual)
Eligible for overtime, bonus, and/or profit sharing
