Position: Water, Fire, Mold Technician
Environment Control is a locally owned and operated Building Maintenance and Restoration company that has been in Colorado Springs for 27 years and is growing rapidly. We are looking for friendly and hard working people with Water, Fire, and Mold experience that want to make a career with our company. The role would include restoration services to residential and commercial customers, after hour emergency restoration services with an on-call schedule, and building maintenance tasks. This job is fast-paced and every day is unique.
Job Duties:
- Water inspections, material damage assessment, and estimating of jobs
- Water Extraction
- Setting up and monitoring proper drying environments on every job
- Documentation of each job
- Demolition
- Occasional Mold, Fire, and Sewage Mitigation
- Building Maintenance and Minor Construction
- Willing to do miscellaneous tasks for other departments at Environment Control
Job Requirements
- Detailed oriented
- Customer service oriented with effective communication with customers, property managers, and insurance adjusters
- Hardworking and Driven for success
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- IICRC certifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds alone, and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Comfortable with ladders and heights, tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics, and wearing personal protective equipment such as full face respirators and coveralls
- Ability to properly work with cleaning chemicals
- Experience with cleaning, restoration, or construction
Job Salary
$18 - $25 based on experience. 40 hours per week guaranteed with the potential for overtime with the on-call work schedule.'
