Ember Supper Club is currently seeking a talented hospitality professional to lead our dining room and nightclub operations. Ember is an upscale restaurant and night club hybrid in Downtown Orlando. We offer guests a superior dining experience in our restaurant featuring a craft kitchen and a menu inspired by the cuisines of Southern Europe. We are also Downtown Orlando’s premier social environment late night in our nightclub. We are a part of a restaurant, bar, and nightclub group of 9 venues in the Orlando area that was established in 1993.

Assistant Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Manage service aspects of both restaurant and nightclub operations.
• Provide direction to hosts, servers, barback, bartenders, VIP servers, and security, ensuring execution of all employee duties.
• Write and manage the dining room and nightclub schedules.
• Monitor front of house operations to ensure compliance with health and fire department regulations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local food handling, alcohol service, sound code, fire code, and any other regulations, requirements and standards.
• Ensure excellent quality and execution of service throughout all day parts and promotions.
• Lead in the implementation and management of dining room and nightclub policies and procedures throughout each shift.
• Manage ordering of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, paper supplies, office supplies, and specialty goods.
• Fulfill the duties of any front of house team member when needed.
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of all front of house areas including dining room, restrooms, patio, bars, and storage areas.
• Ensure utilization of documentation including training materials, recipes, sidework, and opening and closing check lists.
• Complete monthly beverage inventory.
• Anticipate, identify, and correct any issues with quality, execution, inventory, systems, and staffing.
• Monitor labor costs to attain budgeted goals within established policies and procedures.
• Monitor cost of goods to attain budgeted goals within established policies and procedures.
• Develop and manage relationships with DJs and promoter partners.
• Oversee and approve initial and ongoing training and development of all front of house staff.
• Lead the hiring process by conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations.
• Oversee a team of service managers who assist with all the above.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of hospitality-related experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Comfortable using a computer, navigating standard office and point-of-sale software

Compensation: This position qualifies for a total compensation package worth $35,000-$42,000 that includes base salary, bonus potential, gratuities, healthcare, paid vacation, and a monthly tab to use at any of our 9 Orlando area venues.
