Job description
The Residential Program Manager – QIDP is a human services professional who ensures that the services received by a client from the residential program are consistent with the client’s wishes, needs, and desires (as documented in that client’s individual service plan).
Qualifications: Must have at least one year experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability or other developmental disabilities. Have at least a BA/BS in sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, psychology, or RN.
Orchestrate all facets of the active treatment effort, including the creation and development of the individual support plan to meet the client needs.
Supervisor to home managers and a team of Dsps. Review and approve work schedules, and time off. Shall perform duties of absent personnel if needed.
Promote positive interactions of residential staff with clients in program implantation and behavior management.
Routinely interact with program staff to assist in determining the effectiveness of program plans in meeting client needs.
Determine the need for program revision based on client performance.
Monitors progress and ensures follow through with objectives listed in the individual’s ISP and BSP.
Provides crisis intervention/supportive counseling, assists with supervision of clients as needed, participates in on-call rotation.
Completes weekly site visits to ensure that all the individuals’ plans are implemented as written, documentation in the home is correct and to ensure that the individual’s needs are being met.
Identify inconsistencies in training approaches or programs not being implemented as written.
Assures follow-up occurs for any recommendation for services, equipment or programs so that needed services and supplies are provided in a timely manner to meet the client’s needs.
Must have a valid driver’s license. You must maintain a driving record that will not preclude insurance coverage by the agency’s carrier.
Serve as on-call person on a rotating schedule.
The Residential Program Manager – QIDP shall engage in or see the completion of any tasks required to maintain ISO certification, Medicaid funding, ICF/IID accreditation, BQIS standards. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive listing of duties but rather a sampling of what the position entails.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $38,000.00 yearly salary with additional earning potential.
