McLain & Merritt, PC, is looking for a full time residential Pre-Closer with 2 or more years of experience. Our firm offers an enjoyable work environment, 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation and paid Sick days.

Responsibilities:

• Order title examinations, payoffs, HOA estoppel letters, utility bills and tax information
• Prepare title commitments and collaborate with the Attorney to resolve title issues.
• Input preliminary figures into Softpro system to create CD/settlement statements
• Calculate property taxes for newly constructed homes using county millage rates
• Maintain consistent communication with the assigned Closer and Attorney regarding the status of items
• Maintain an active real estate calendar

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience
• Familiar with standard closing practices and be able to hit the ground running
• Team oriented and customer service driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Softpro Select

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
