Job Summary: We are looking for a Director of Residential Services to our EIHAB team who will be responsible for the implementation of program services and administrative oversight for our individuals and residential programs.

RESPONSBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Training and supervision of management staff.
  • Mentor and coach management teams
  • Assume QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) responsibilities in the absence of a QIDP.
  • Active participation on agency committees and projects.
  • Ensure all program services are consistent with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate services in the areas of clinical, personnel and programming.
  • Act as an advocate for the individuals and ensure protective oversight.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of residential budgets, including monitoring of budgets and residential accounts.
  • Participation in the intake process of individuals being referred for placement.
  • Assist in overseeing maintenance of residences.
  • Assist with investigation of serious reportable incidents, as delegated.
  • Oversee electronic systems to enhance department’s efficiencies and ability to measure outcomes.
  • Conduct Self Reviews and visit and observe program operations, staff performance and individual routines
  • Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture, and values of business development.
  • Support the mission and vision of the organization.
  • 24/7 on call accessibility
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA degree in Human Services or related field required or a combination of education and experience that are judged by the CEO to be either equivalent or adequate and appropriate. Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in residential management with an additional two years in ID/DD program services.
  • Goal-oriented professional with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity and understanding of marketing guidelines for FIDA-IDD/Medicaid Programs and marketing regulations for Medicare managed care organizations required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills along with an attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. PowerPoint preferred.
  • ·Valid driver's license and willing to travel within Monmouth and Ocean County in New Jersey.

Working Conditions:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Ability to think clearly in stressful situations, a high stress tolerance required, and works with frequent interruptions. Frequent sitting and standing is required.

The position is located within Monmouth/Ocean County: 40 hours per week: (Monday - Friday). Flexibility is needed for this position based on the needs of the programs. Emergency situations may require nights and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
