Job description
Full-time position at the Apartment Living Program, an 8-bed residential program for young men ages 17-20 who are transitioning from direct care with the Department of Juvenile Justice. This is an apartment-based independent-living reentry residential program. To provide direct supervision, case management and individual, group and family counseling. Evening/weekend shifts will be required. Must transport residents in 12 or 15-passenger van as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least 1 year human services experience. Experience may be paid, volunteer, internship or practicum. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered in lieu of the minimum education and experience requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services discipline or related field such as criminal justice. Experience with at-risk youth, counseling and residential care preferred. Ideal candidate is competency-based, flexible and a strong team player.
