Residential Aide RA
Job description
Interim Healthcare Services of NEPA is looking for experienced Residential Assistants RAs and Direct Support Professionals DSPs to care of individuals with physical and mental disabilities in a group home setting out of the Lackawanna County area.
The Residential Aide RA / Direct Support Professional DSP provides personal care and incidental activities of daily living as assigned to clients in the Group home setting in accordance with applicable law and regulations, and Customer’s policies and procedures.
Job Details for the Residential Assistant RA / Direct Support Professional DSP include:
- Salary up to $17 per hour, paid weekly
- Hours? M-F 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 11p-9a and Weekends 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 11p-9a
- PRN; with opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week
- Locations: Scranton, Taylor, Throop, Dickson City, Elmhurst, Carbondale, Dunmore, Old Forge, Clarks Summit

Minimum Requirements for the Direct Support Professional (DSP):
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in a personal care, group home, or nursing home setting; required.
- CPR and First Aide Certification; required
- Driver's License in the State of PA and reliable form of transportation; required
- Willing to undergo pre-employment screenings
