Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field and three or more years of research experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.� May require professional certification.�

Position Description:

The individual will be responsible for: conducting and organizing studies involving animal models of environmental exposures to include mouse colony maintenance, chemical exposure, and administration of test compounds; performing in vitro experiments with tissue culture of primary and immortalized cells; performing routine assays such as qRT-PCR, ELISAs and western blotting; and contributing to immunohistochemical assays by embedding tissues and processing slides. Work with human clinical samples may be required. This position will be part of multidisciplinary projects involving UofL NIH funded Research Cores.� Standard data analysis including scientific presentation of data using graphs and slides as well as laboratory maintenance and inventory upkeep are expected. Prior experience with surgical, histological, immunohistochemical or statistical analyses is required.

Target Compensation Maximum:

$31.71

Target Compensation Minimum:

$17.84

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
