SUMMARY

Research, develop, and evaluate new technology, processes, or equipment in response to an assigned goal or to solve a specific problem.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate research, studies, experiments, and development activities between multiple disciplines of engineering.
• Work on complex problems that impact the success of current or future products.
• Serve as a technical specialist in application of theories, concepts, principles, and processes in area of responsibility.
• Contribute to a cross-functional team to support end-to-end engineered solutions.
• Work with internal teams, customer, and vendors to facilitate effective communication.
• Prepare reports of research data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
• Has knowledge and skills in the engineering discipline.
• Uses prescribed techniques and procedures within established criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Entry level or early career engineer with Bachelors' degree or Master's degree in engineering field - Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of an internship in related field is preferred.
• Demonstrable skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in at least one field related to position, as listed in "desired skillsets."
• Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
• Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Travel may be necessary, based on position.
• Expereinced skill set in one of the following: Web Development, UI, Algorithims, Machine Learning, Linux Development, Protocols, Data serializers, AWS
