Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great company who specializes in geckos, and products for reptiles and amphibians. The client is in Zeeland, MI and they are looking for a Reptile Caretaker to start immediately. The employee in this position will care for the reptiles, prepare diets and maintains accurate records of animals, physically inspect animals and observe behavior, and more.

Reptile Caretaker position Responsibilities:

• Prepare diets and maintains accurate records of animals
• Physically Inspect animals and observe behavior
• Appropriately clean/disinfect animal enclosures/habitats
• Stage and prepare enclosures, hides and décor
• Runs washer, maintains equipment, and prepares washroom
• Weighs and tracks Gecko progress as instructed
• General maintenance and organization of the Reptile Department
• Ask for help when uncertain

Reptile Caretaker qualifications:

• Caring for the reptile’s overall health and well-being.
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Pass a background check/drug test
• Great attendance and positive attitude
• Able to work some weekends and Holidays
• Actively seeks self-improvement
• Experience with Reptiles preferred but not required
