POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for effectively selling truck and heavy equipment fleet parts and services for the trucking, coach / bus, delivery, emergency services industries in an assigned territory to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts. Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs.
  • Recommend and sell truck and heavy equipment fleet parts and services utilizing knowledge of on-highway markets.
  • Achieve sales goals and forecasts, as established by the department and the
  • Assist in marketing and sale of new products and services to the existing
  • Interface with other departments, including service and parts
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals and/or bid contracts to existing and potential customers for review.
  • Establish, maintain and develop business, social and networking relationships with individuals within the motor coach and trucking industry in order to generate and maintain a positive business image for the organization.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
