JOB DESCRIPTION
Day to Day:
One of our clients in the Salt Lake City, Utah area is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join one of their largest Salesforce teams to support their student ecosystem. This individual will perform system administration and configuration and work directly with both the development teams and Business Stakeholders. They will work closely with the Salesforce team lead, application manager, and developers to resolve system issues, as well as create and maintain documentation for the Salesforce infrastructure systems, policies and procedures. They will primarily be working on expanding the Experience cloud for an internal faculty facing platform that will be used by mentor staff for student engagement rates, time logs, and enrollment progress to ensure students are making progress in their journey.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience working on Salesforce platform (flexible with this, must be able to hit the ground running)
- 3+ year experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
- Experience with Experience Cloud (Formerly Community Cloud) and experience with other Salesforce Clouds (preferably Sales Cloud or Service Cloud)
- Exposure or experience with Salesforce Development/ Developer tasks
- Experience working in a highly complex, enterprise-level Salesforce environment
- Experience with issue troubleshooting and performance tuningin a large environment with dependencies
- Commitment to quality through the ability to translate complex technical requirements into functional software using best practices so the team can write high quality code
- Knowledge with Salesforce architecture (specifically data management and data flow)
- An understanding that the Salesforce cannot solve all of the world's problems and flexibility to use different tools to accomplish the problem at hand
- Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, Lightning components, SQL and SOQL.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Salesforce Certifications (Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certificationor Platform Dev 1)
- Expertise with SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language)
- Mulesoft or Tableu
- Automation testing background
- Experience reviewing developer code and Salesforce deployment packages to ensure best practices and procedures are adhered to.
