The Regulatory Compliance Analyst is to coordinate and mitigate the company’s risk by leading broad and complex compliance matters with domestic regulations and conformance of supply chain network to aid in establishing Standard Operating Procedures. This position serves as a primary advisor on regulations and helps establish SOPs that span across relevant teams to ensure that regulatory standard processes are met throughout the business.

A DAY IN YOUR NEW CAREER:

• Manages Safety Data Sheets to ensure information on products are up to date, organized, and available for reference.
• Conducts regulatory reviews and interprets SDS and quality specifications in support of existing and new products, including SKU approvals.
• Audits third party logistics providers for adherence to regulations
• Implements corrective action to reduce regulatory non-compliance
• Serves as Subject Matter Expert to all other teams in matters of conformance to regulations and industry practices within the chemical industry
• Advises when regulatory interpretation is in dispute with any partner.

DESIRED BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree from fully accredited four-year institution is preferred; Engineering, Chemistry, and/or Master’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of applicable corporate, federal, state and local regulatory requirements for product, environmental, and general regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge and experience working with Visio, or similar process mapping tool
• Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
• Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with customers, suppliers and outsourced relationships
