We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist for our Deerfield Beach MedFlorida Pharmacy. The pharmacy is located adjacent to the primary care office.

Job duties include but not limited to:

• Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies, and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders; counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation.
• Maintains the pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, arranging and organizing merchandise/supplies, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Receives and stocks merchandise/supplies from suppliers and organizes and maintains the Pharmacy area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.

• Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Makes recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• must be at least 18 years of age
• must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy
• must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter

• Licensed Pharmacist in Florida- Active and Unrestricted
• 1-3 years’ experience
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour

• Pharmacy dispensing: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
