Job Description:

• Perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and re-assignments as per policy.
• Formulated, prioritizes and documents nursing diagnosis consistent with the assessment data.
• Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the patient’s age.
• Ability to revise a plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluate overall plan for daily effectiveness.
• Knowledge of cardiac vascular medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.
• Ability to perform treatments and provide services according to scope of practice.
• Ability to do a 12 Lead ECG
• Ability to identify abnormal cardiac rhythms
• Ability to prep patients for Cardiac Cath procedures
• Ability to monitor patients during and after a Cardiac Cath Lab procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in New York State
• Critical Care Experience preferred
• BCLS/ACLS required
• Bachelors preferred
• Basic Arrhythmia course preferred
• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• PCI experience preferred
• Cardiovascular diagnostic procedure experience preferred
• Advanced ECG knowledge preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $67.00 - $72.00 per hour
