Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

This position if for a full-time operating room nurse. We are open Tuesday – Friday. No nightshifts, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call shifts!

We have 4 operating rooms, and our surgical specialties include ENT, podiatry, ortho, cataracts and plastic surgery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current RN License in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• (Applicants must either have required additional certifications (e.g. ACLS, PALs, NRP) upon hire or must obtain them within a specified timeframe determined by service line and department guidelines.)
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$31.61 - $47.42
