Registered Nurse- Circulating Nurse

Job Description:

The RN will perform a variety of duties to ensure that quality nursing care is provided in maintaining an atmosphere allowing for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of patients. The RN will assist the physician before, during, or after interventional procedures and ensure efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of operation procedures and patient safety. No nights, weekends, or call! $87,000/year commensurate with experience!

Job Functions:

· Ensures that physician orders are followed for all patients.

· Applies knowledge, skill, and judgment to provide excellent and focused patient care.

· Promotes and participates in providing accurate recording of medications and treatments given to patients.

· Continuously measures patient progress toward designated outcomes and revises Care Plan and interventions as necessary.

· Reports significant observations and information to the physician, anesthesiologist and/or CRNA.

· Maintains confidentiality of management information, displays discretion and good judgment in communication methods.

Requirements:

· Graduation of an accredited school of professional nursing

· Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

· Current BLS and ACLS certification

· 1+ Years of previous nursing experience
