Ocean Health Care has a Full Time Registered Dietitian position opened at Elmora Hills and Rehabilitation in Elizabeth .
The Registered Dietitian plans and delivers nutritional care to the patients. Conducts and implements comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients
- Assesses, plans, writes and evaluates patient diets.
- Instructs and counsels patients on dietary restrictions/recommendations.
- Participates in multidisciplinary teams providing input regarding treatment plans and writing care plans.
- Monitors, records and communicates as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- At least two years clinical dietetics experience in LTC.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition required.
- Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Previous experience in Long term Care preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have computer skills, to be able to work on Microsoft office.
- Must know Point Click Care (PCC).
- Have excellent customer service skills and is a team player.
