Director of Nursing Services

Hyatt Family Facilities, the Yakima Valley’s premier Skilled Nursing family of companies is now seeking a Director of Nursing to join their team of compassionate, highly trained nursing staff!

Applicants must have:
Current State RN license
Minimum 5 years nursing experience in long-term care and 3 years management experience
Prior MDS experience
Current CPR/First Aid card
Complete and Pass a WA State Patrol background check
Valid driver's license

Attributes of a successful DNS at Hyatt Family Facilities
As the Director of the Nurse Team, the DNS leads the facility’s nursing staff and supports the Administrator in facility operations. The DNS must ensure all clinical practices meet state and federal guidelines. The DNS possesses excellent interpersonal skills and an intuitive management style supportive of a cohesive working environment with the Skilled Nursing team. While the DNS practices strong assessment and critical thinking skills during their clinical duties, this team leader thrives by multi-tasking the clinical roll with the management roll in today’s demanding skilled nursing industry. The DNS is a compassionate nurse whose caregiving style resonates Hyatt’s standards of care. It is these standards that deliver a nurturing atmosphere while providing the highest level of quality of life to all short and long term residents each facility serves.
