Position Summary:

The Recruitment Specialist (RS) is responsible for full cycle recruitment functions, including screening, recruiting, interviewing, testing, reference/background checks, making job offers, hiring, orientation, and on-boarding of candidates. Also assists with general data collection, data entry, report writing, document control/compliance, and HRIS system maintenance. Requires knowledge of principles and practices of recruitment and human resources. The Recruitment Specialist performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with OneLegacy policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs all recruitment functions (screens, recruits, interviews, tests, checks candidate references/backgrounds).
  • Works with hiring managers to assist with general recruitment efforts, such as identifying job openings, staff needs and creating job postings.
  • Finds alternative sources for recruitment, including staffing agencies, LinkedIn, career fairs, occupational colleges, and university career boards.
  • Reviews employment applications and job requisitions to screen and match applicants with job requirements. Makes hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Conducts initial phone screens with job applicants, informing applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
  • Assists in coordination and scheduling of phone screens, pre-employment testing, and first and second interviews with leadership.
  • Greets candidates upon arrival for interviews and facilitates introductions to leadership.
  • Greets candidates upon arrival for pre-employment testing, facilitates testing setup, and proctors pre-employment tests.

Job Qualifications: *

Education: 2 year degree (Associate’s), or HR Certificate Experience: 2+ years of recruitment/HR experience utilizing HRIS and applicant tracking systems. Ultipro Recruitment module is preferred. Certification/License: OneLegacy requires employees to maintain a current California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance. Please refer to OneLegacy’s Policy HR108 - Licensure and Certification for insurance coverage requirements. Equipment: Reliable automotive transportation required.

Pay: From $24.64 per hour
