Richmond Community Services, a leading nonprofit provider of support services for Westchester County's I/DD community, is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator PT (3 days/week) to assist our Talent Acquisition Department
Summary of Position: Under the supervision of the Recruiting & Staffing Manager, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and processing new talent. The Recruitment Coordinator will support the HR Department in finding qualified professionals who can contribute to our delightful culture and atmosphere
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in all agency recruitment. This includes cultivating resource leads through various sources, generating ads, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. Assesses candidates’ qualifications and appropriateness for employment at Richmond, and verifies accuracy and completeness of relevant documents. Counseling managers on candidate selection. Maintains records of all advertisements placed in various media. Verifies accuracy and submits invoices for approval.
- Coordinates pre-employment and tracks results.
- Research and attend job fairs/events at local colleges or virtually.
- Widen talent pools by conducting site visits to local establishments.
- Screen resumes determining the quality and culture fit of each candidate.
- Maintain a record of selection, assessments, and progress for each candidate.
- Completes (written and oral) employment/personal references.
- Prepares offer letters and oversees the position selection and hourly rate.
- Assess recruitment trends to determine the effectiveness of initiatives, selection process, and onboarding success.
- Provide Front Desk coverage as needed.
- Assists with new hire data entry in the absence of an HR Generalist.
- Processes internal applications.
- Sends the Workforce Development Department (WFD) email addresses and last four of social of prospective hires for Relias log-in.
- Other duties as assigned by the Recruitment & Staffing Manager

- Basic knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, to deliver oral presentations, and communicate effectively in writing and prepare written and electronic documents.
- Ability to effectively analyze, synthesize, interpret, communicate and present data from a variety of sources in appropriate, understandable language, both verbally and in writing.
- Computer experience including keyboarding skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Internet navigation required.
- Ability to state findings with confidence, express opinions and recommendations clearly, concisely, and effectively to a variety of persons under varying conditions;
- Ability to travel to RCS and external sites.
- Ability to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
- Ability to receive and utilize constructive feedback regarding performance, presentation and relationships with others.

Work Schedule: This is a Part-Time position of 21 hours/week. The position is considered non-exempt under the FLSA and is eligible for overtime pay

The salary for this role is $21.98-$24.75/hour and is based on prior experience.
