COMPANY INTRODUCTION:
Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) is a veteran-owned and operated security staffing and consulting firm with over twenty years of combined experience. VCPG provides protective services throughout California. Our security agents are thoroughly trained and have experience operating in high-risk environments. Many of our agents are veterans and/or former or current law enforcement officers. VCPG’s staff of uniquely qualified individuals deliver exceptional security services to our clients. VCPG is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to grow our team of elevated security agents. The Recruitment Coordinator will be a full-time internal hourly employee.
About the position:
Able to work 40 hours a week in our office in Livermore, CA. Adept at working collaboratively with a team and immersing themselves within a multi-step hiring process. Eager to understand their role and the value they can add to VCPG. The Recruitment Coordinator takes ownership of the entire talent acquisition process. Develops tracking materials to manage their recruitment stages while gathering invaluable data that paints a picture of success and setbacks. Provides a weekly summary of statistics and shares new insights. Quickly learns the culture of VCPG and how to recognize a remarkable candidate. The ideal candidate will familiarize themselves with VCPG client needs, the current agent roster, and the operations team to better inform their work when selecting potential Agents. Can explain to the team in a clear and concise manner what qualities and backgrounds make a strong candidate and why they veto a candidate. Acts as the first point of contact for candidates and represents VCPG with poise and intelligence. Screens candidates via phone, schedule interviews, and debrief the team on the status of candidates. The Recruitment Coordinator will engage with industry news and become familiar with roles within the security industry to better understand how individuals of different backgrounds work together.
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year of experience working as a recruiter.
- A proven track record that illustrates a measurable increase in hiring that resulted in long-term staffing.
- Excels in using hiring platforms such as indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn
Desired Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience working as a recruiter.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Higher in: Human Resources, Business Administration, English, Communications, Hospitality, or another related field.
- Knowledge of the security industry.
- Possesses soft skills such as emotional intelligence, critical thought, tact, initiative, and discernment.
- Has a robust LinkedIn presence and has built a network to engage with.
