Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) provides psychiatric stabilization and dual diagnosis treatments for Adult population in an inpatient settings. Our goal is to ensure patients and their loved ones feel comfortable and are well informed regarding treatment options.

Our state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located in Westborough near the intersection of Route 495 and Route 9. The hospital operates 24/7 with multiple shifts available.

Job Summary

The Recruiter will focus on attracting and efficiently hiring qualified, competent and experienced who embrace Westborough Behavioral Health Hospital’s mission and values. They will be responsible for development and implementation of recruitment plans, position advertising and marketing, screening and interview guides, applicant interviews and correspondence, relationship building, education, etc.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for recruitment strategy, sourcing techniques and implementing innovative and efficient programs to ensure hiring and retention of the best talent
  • Recruitment of various positions in a timely and cost-effective manner including screening resumes and applications
  • Participate in career fairs, open house, job fairs and activities
  • Manage the onboarding process
  • Initiate, lead, plan and execute all nurse recruitment events such as job fairs, open interview days, technical college recruiting, etc.
  • Develops and fosters professional relationships with colleagues and college/university placement officers as a source for generating qualified applicants
  • Compose and coordinate placement of local, regional and/or national recruitment advertising
  • Design, coordinate and evaluate marketing plans to promote Westborough Behavioral Health Hospital as an employer of choice
  • Coordinate with Senior Leadership and Directors to ensure that applicant screening and evaluation is consistent with position requirement, institution and departmental goals
  • Screen and interview candidates and recommend the best-qualified candidates to appropriate clinical service/unite/area manager for consideration
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and/or Licensure – Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or another related field preferred.

Experience – Minimum of one year of recruiting experience required.

  • Technical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills relevant to Human Resources to effectively communicate with applicants, employees, team members, department managers/directors and administration.
  • Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision, to independently carry out the duties of the position.
  • Proven ability to work productively in an environment with high levels of interruption.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of personnel management, employment and recruitment techniques, and laws relating thereto.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Sensitivity to and willingness to interact with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
  • Proficiency with software and/or equipment (Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as well as possessing the skills to lead, influence, and motivate others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization.
