We are looking for an experienced Driver Recruiter at Empire Express. Our Recruiters are patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk. Our recruiters can put themselves in their candidates’ shoes and really determine fit at Empire Express.

We work in house. Together. In close proximity to our Operations Department. We do that because we are one #EmpireFamily.

The primary purpose of the job is to recruit and retain a sustainable mix of safe, qualified drivers in a manner that properly manages cost and maximizes return on invested advertising dollars.

Responsibilities

• Maximize Return on Investment
• Process Applicants in an Efficient Manner
• Recruit Drivers to Improve Capacity
• Minimize the Number of Non-OTR Drivers
• Recruit Driver Trainees
• Provide Driver Assistance
• Increase the Number of HazMat Endorsed Drivers
• Provide Safety Support

Skills

• Proven Driver Recruiter
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Familiarity with Tenstreet, is preferred, but not required
• People orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• High school degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
