The California DOJ is seeking a Record Management Coordinator (State Classification: Associate Governmental Program Analyst, or AGPA). The Record Management Coordinator will provide business analysis and support services to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the Record Management Branch (RMB). The Record Management Coordinator will be responsible for updating and maintaining the Criminal Offence Code Tables for the State of California.
This position is designated for telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California and may require reporting to headquarters or field offices and facilities to fulfill operational needs.
Duties Include:
- Maintain and regularly update the Criminal Offence Code Tables.
- Review and analyze proposed legislation and advise management on the impact or potential impact to the Criminal Offence Code Tables.
- Document procedures and streamline the process of updating and maintaining the Criminal Offence Code Tables
- Ensure that processes, procedures, and practices adhere to statutory and case law mandates, as well as departmental policies.
- Develop manuals, specifications, brochures, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders related to criminal history information processes.
- Provide verbal and written summaries and recommendations to management.
- Regularly assist law enforcement agencies regarding questions about the Criminal Offence Code Tables.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technology
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, AND three years of professional analytical experience performing duties in one or a combination of the following or closely related areas: budgeting, management analysis, personnel, planning, program evaluation, or policy analysis.
Salary (Monthly):
$5518.00 - $6907.00
