Receptionist (FT; Days) - Cypress Creek Clinic
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Cypress Creek clinic!
Part of the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center family, the Cedar Park Physician Associates family practice and internal medicine team is committed to providing superior quality health care for children and adults. Located on Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park, our services include Adult Care/ Gynecology, Children and Adolescents and routine office procedures.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant manner
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Prepares charts accurately and completely, ensuring completion of all intake forms
- Enters patient demographics, charges and payments into the clinic computer system
- Verifies patient insurance eligibility and coverage
- Accurately handles the collection of patient payments
- May be required to accurately conduct end of day balances
- May be required to float to other clinics as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of Front Desk Receptionist experience in a family practice, internal medicine or OB/GYN clinic setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
