Part-time - Every Other Weekend from 7a-2p
Position Summary:
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; maintains security and telecommunications systems. Exercises good judgment when responding to situations that may arise. Maintains a positive image and professional work relationship with residents, clients, family members, team members, and all those we care for and serve.
Essential Functions:
- Greets and directs visitors while monitoring access and maintaining security by following established procedures.
- Promptly and courteously answers and directs all calls. Responds to inquiries, gives direction and provides assistance as needed.
- Keeps informed of company policies and procedures, answers related internal and external questions.
- Promotes positive client/resident relations for all customers by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with residents, clients, family members, visitors, those seeking our services, and team members clearly and respectfully.
- Displays behavior that supports Fellowship’s mission, vision, values, policies, and Fellowship Spirit; consistently performs position responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.
Job Requirements:
- Customer service experience, preferably in long term care or health care setting.
- PC literate, MS Office Suite.
- Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Must effectively prioritize tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with, and respond to the instructions and requests from a diverse group of clients/residents, visitors and team members and to provide information with courtesy and tact.
- Ability to function independently, have flexibility, and demonstrate personal integrity when interacting with clients/residents, families, team members, and others.
- Ability to respond to and work with a mature resident population, creating a warm, caring and supportive environment for the enjoyment of the on-campus and off campus clients and to promote this philosophy to all team members.
