Responsibilities
The Receptionist is responsible for executing their role responsibilities to deliver the Human Resources Department’s goals and key objectives, which are as follows:
- Performs administrative and clerical Human Resources functions for two entities/divisions within The Apparel Group.
- Responsible for management and upkeep of company apartment in New York as needed.
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and escorts them to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; taking messages as needed.
- Responsible for basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Travel arrangements: Schedules Southwest Airlines travel for sales department; hotel and car reservations for company employees.
- Shipping, receiving and delivery of mail and packages.
- Coordinates company celebrations and functions; including décor for holidays.
- Orders lunches for company meetings.
- Maintains the appearance of conference rooms and breakroom, including cleaning the refrigerator.
- Orders office and kitchen supplies; maintains office supply closet and stocking kitchen.
- Maintains company phone list; orders parking badges and provides parking validation to visitors.
- Assists with departmental projects as requested.
- Makes copies, sends faxes and assists with correspondence for Executive Management team.
