Job description

We are seeking a Receiving and Parts Department Technicianto support manufacturing and development of Semilab-SDI’s measurement equipment for the Semiconductor and Photovoltaic industries.

The position of Receiving and Parts Department Technician shall be based in Semilab SDI, Tampa, FL. The Technician will report to the Engineering Manager, who will oversee specific tasks and work schedule.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have background experience in a Shipping / Receiving department and have reasonable computer skills/basic software knowledge.

The position requires excellent communication skills in verbal and written English. It requires a highly self-motivated individual willing to take initiative in both individual and team work environments. The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment, as well as possess strong problem solving abilities.

Additional Qualifications and Areas of Responsibilities shall include:

1. Shipping / Receiving Responsibilities

· Receiving parts into an inventory program/documenting on corresponding cards

· Distributing Parts into Kits, Systems and Stock locations

· Distributing Machine parts

· Sending out parts for secondary process

· Ability to lift 50lbs

2. Part Department Responsibilities

· Kitting Subassemblies and System bills

· Updating System inventories and Subassemblies

· Stocking and labeling new parts

· Putting away excess/unused stock

3. Administrative Responsibilities

· Following up on orders with purchasing department

· Filing order cards

· Filing Machine drawings

· Identifying parts with corresponding drawings

Compensation & benefits:

Compensation will be based off candidate skill level and will be hourly + health / retirement benefits in accordance with Semilab-SDI policy.
