Job Requirements:
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills
- Good organization
- Ability to work independently on a given assignment
- Strong competency with computers and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to maintain flexibility when dealing with new and changing assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the lab is a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform/schedule equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Monitors PPE and Consumable inventory levels are maintained.
- Assists in generating test procedures.
- Trains technicians on lab safety and equipment operation.
- Conduct tests per industry standards and/or customer specification.
- Generate data summaries and reports requiring basic data analysis.
- Ability to deal with new and changing assignments.
- Interface with people in other functional areas.
- Must comply with all laboratory safety procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all ISO procedures in work activities.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Associate degree, Certificate, or two years of college in a scientific or technology field, or equivalent experience.
- One to three years’ experience working in equipment maintenance or laboratory environment
