Job Title: Inspector A

Duration: 8 Months

Shift: M-F / 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Incoming Inspector

This position is responsible to ensure all products received from outside vendors are per all technical drawings and specifications. The incumbent will perform mechanical inspections of intricate machined assemblies as well as review certifications for compliance to purchase order requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Measure products with various gauges including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, thread gages, height stands, indicators.

Generate inspection records.

Input receiving inspection certification into collection database.

Accept conforming or reject non-conforming products and generate Non-conformance Reports for products that fail to meet specifications.

Perform visual workmanship inspections.

Requirements for Consideration:

Minimum of a High School Diploma

Understand geometric tolerances.

Ability to use Microsoft word and excel.

Experience with utilizing CMM machines strongly desired but not mandatory.

Ability to problem solve and write clearly and logically.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, as well as department procedures.

Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.

High attention to detail and accuracy of work.

Have a positive attitude, ability to work in a collaborative environment and be customer-focused

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
