What you will be doing:

• Ensuring quality procedures and customer requirements are complied with and documented
• Participating in continuous improvement activities in our fabrication and quality management processes
• Working alongside and learning from some of the most skilled steel fabricators in the country
• Inspecting materials, welds, bolts, coatings, and more for compliance with customer requirements
• Performing and/or learning magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and ultrasonic testing
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area and professional working relationship with customer representatives
• Actively participating in the safety program, contributing to a positive safety culture
• Lifting and moving heavy items safely – 50+lbs

What you will bring with you:

• Commitment to working safely and actively participating in our safety culture
• Desire to learn and contribute to the success of your team and the company
• Ability to work with and communicate well with others
• Understanding that job duties change based on our customer’s needs, sometimes multiple times in a shift
• 1+ years of recent quality control experience in a manufacturing setting
• Current American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector required
• MT, PT and/or UT experience preferred
• SSPC BCI or NACE CIP certification preferred
• Proficiency using inspection instruments, tape measures (standard and metric), and basic survey equipment
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
