Your Role
You will determine the methods, operations, sequences, and setups to perform inspections. The Quality Specialist will report to the Site Manager. #LI-onsiteYour Responsibilities
- Read and understand documents and processes and apply to manufacturing and inspection
- Read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Conduct department audits, ensure current documentation is in use and certification (calibration) of all tooling and test equipment is current
- Use a variety of instruments such as bore gauge, air gauge, profilometer, micrometer, caliper, and comparator
- Create inspection reports and corrective action requests
- Demonstrate active commitment to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) standards
- Work overtime or weekends when needed
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous quality and inspection experience
- Experience handling multiple, simultaneous tasks
- Understanding of quality systems requirements such as AS9120 and ISO 9001
- Must be U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident to work at this site
