Quality Assurance Floor Inspector

Afternoon shift position, 3:30pm-12:00am, includes a 1/2 overtime daily.

General Description - Quality Inspector will perform in-process and final inspection of products. Inspector will identify and isolate non-conforming product and inform manufacturing of processes producing non-conforming products.

Responsibilities Include

• Perform in-process and final inspections.
• Perform first piece and re-start inspections.
• Identifies approved product with green sticker.
• Performs record keeping and filing duties.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as capliers, micrometers, gage pins, etc.
• Review and enforces part quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous quality control experience.
• Thorough knowledge of plastic defects such as short shots, flash, splay, sinks, etc.
• Basic SPC and math skills required.
• General computer skills required.
• Effective communication skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged hours.
• Ability to bend, stoop and pick up boxes weighing 40 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include ability to adjust focus and color match.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
