Quest Global is looking for a Quality Engineer in New Market, VA.
This position starts as a 6 month contract with full-time hours.

Roles & Responsibilities:
*Perform supplier on-site source inspection to check the conformity of product or assembly before it’s shipped to the purchaser.
*Communicate non-conformance to purchaser and supplier.
*Ensure purchased material conforms to all PO and/or SOW, drawing, and specification requirements.
*Ensure product quality is provided by the guidelines contained within Supplier Quality Requirements that are placed on each item by the PO and/or SOW, drawings, and all referenced specifications.
*Take physical measurements of drawing critical features to ensure conformance
*Review First Article Inspection package (AS9102).
*Familiar with PPAP requirements (AS9145).
*Perform product and process audits.
*Conduct process capability assessments and audits.
*Manage reported product Non-conformances, conduct RCCA (Root Cause, Corrective Action) analysis and drive product quality improvements.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
*BS degree in Engineering or Technical field. Other degrees w/ additional relevant experience will be considered.
*3 – 6 years’ relevant experience in Quality / Manufacturing / Industrial / Supply Chain Engineering.
*Experience with part and process evaluation. Measurement and/or Inspection experience.
*History of identifying and resolving quality and delivery issues, including part containment, risk assessment, utilization of formal quality RC-CA tools and processes, MRB/CAB
*Ability to read/interpret drawings including understanding of GD&T
*Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization to drive changes, resolve issues, and understand risk to compliance and the business
*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
*Proficiency using MS Office suite
