Our team is looking for a motivated and energetic engineering candidate to support quality operations of a world class bearing supplier.

Quality Engineer

Laconia, New Hampshire, United States

Occupational Summary:

Lead, facilitate and support quality improvements in a machine shop environment using progressive problem solving techniques and statistical methodology.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the Manufacturing to improve quality and develop solid corrective actions.
  • Responsible for area quality metrics, data collection and analysis.
  • Monitor key process parameters.
  • Lead and support quality initiatives.
  • Communicate quality aspects within a team approach to drive improvements.
  • Daily interaction with operators and supervision to identify and improve product and process quality.
  • Perform internal and/or supplier quality audits.
  • Oversight and training of quality related process and systems.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Four year degree and ASQ certifications with prior aerospace industry experience preferred, or two year degree with machine shop experience required.

Job Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and daily activities.
  • Must be organized, resourceful, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of the organization.

All positions require successful completion of a pre-hire drug screen and background check.
