Schedule: Regular Full-time, Night Shift, 4 – 10hr shift rotation, including weekends

Education Level: College-level courses with science background required. Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred, but similar work-related experience will be considered.

Description

Maintain current, complete, legible, and accurate laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory and Regulatory Practices. Communicate and interact with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Third Party Warehousing, Quality Assurance, and other Mead Johnson personnel, as well as Vendors to resolve quality issues and concerns. Work at both ZIPP and ZSP plants to prepare intermediate and finished product samples for laboratory testing, using aseptic techniques. Ensure accurate labeling and delivery of samples to appropriate laboratories. Use customized computer systems for inventory and laboratory testing (SAP and GLIMS). Coordinate shipping of stability samples and other monthly complaint comparison samples. Coordination of reference samples (storage, verify release, ship). Weekly collection of water samples and submission to laboratory. Cleaning and stocking of sample prep laboratory and hoods. Understand master data (sampling instructions, MLP’s, and Sample Plan Sets). Interpretation of manufacturing order addendums and scheduling requests. Add samples and testing to existing jobs. Cancel tests and samples.

Individual should be detail oriented with a high degree of organizational skill. Willing to participate in and support team activities. Must be able to use independent judgement and work well alone. Be willing to preform backup responsibilities for the team and cross functionally as assigned.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
