Job description
We are looking for a QA Team Member to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for developing a test plan and then executing and documenting any bugs or glitches.
In this role, you should start by understanding the system architecture so the test plan can be as efficient as possible (especially during the bug fix phase). This position requires a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work as specified.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers, digital designers, and technical project managers to identify system requirements.
Work with PMs to: Design, develop, and automated tests using tools such as Katalon or Appium
Prioritize and plan testing activities
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Reporting and documenting bugs, errors, and technical issues.
Monitor debugging process results
Track quality assurance open defects
Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
Perform regression testing
Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
