Position Summary:

This position is to support the operations department with janitorial functions as well as coordinate the activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining the premise. To ensure the successful and timely completion of cleaning buildings; and to maintain an attractive, sanitary and safe environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cleanliness with a focus on detail.

Essential duties include, but not limited to:

• Perform walkthroughts with the client on a daily basis.
• Make sure that all the areas are clean, report every section, use your tablet to keep track of the workflow.
• Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels.
• Inspect all completed work for conformance to Service by Medallion and client standards (Q.A).
• Developing and implementing standards for inspection.
• Training other quality insurance members on all inspection processes.
• Developing a workflow for product inspection.
• Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found.
• Communicating with other team members to solve problems.
• Developing plans to help a company manage waste.
• Clean using appropriate methods, equipment and chemicals.
• Attendance and Punctuality essential function of the position as it requires face to face interaction.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of standard janitorial duties, cleaning techniques, products and equipment.
• Must be able to read and communicate both verbally and written in English.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work as a team or individually.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lit up to 25-pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have janitorial experience.
• Must be able to use laptops and tablets.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Communication skills.
• Database management.
• The ability to consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections.
• The ability to closely follow quality standards.
• Decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.
• Fast paced, high volume, detail-oriented work environment.
• Requires the ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials. 40%.
• Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
• Requires extensive use of hands (ability to reach over, bend and extend hands) 40%.
• Reach above and below shoulder height, constant walking, standing in one place for long periods of time, bending, stooping, lifting, kneeling, etc. 80%.
• Work in varying temperature environments (internal and external parts of the building).
