Brightly is seeking a motivated, hands-on Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Brightly technology team. Work with the development team to test and ensure that released code is clean, performant, and web standards compliant.

Schedule

• Full-time salaried.

What you’ll do

• Directly collaborate with designers and developers.

• Run website and web applications code through accessibility testing.

• Coordinate release and regression testing.

• Work with a team that loves learning and teaching.

• Create testing protocols for implementation across multiple projects.

• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, user interface, or content.

• Design test plans, scripts, scenarios, or procedures.

• Document and report software defects to the development team.

• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

• Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking.

• Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.

• Perform integration and end-to-end testing.

What we’d like to see

• 5+ years experience in software quality.

• Comfortable working in a distributed team environment.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.

• Strong time management and problem solving capabilities.

• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Love of logic and problem solving.

Nice to have

• Strong Automated Testing experience.

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright or similar
• Experience with tools like GitLab, Jira, Azure DevOps.
• Performance testing experience.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 and WAI-ARIA.
• TDD experience.
• Experience converting customer conversations into user stories.
• Experience as Scrum master
• Experience doing business analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
